Thank you for showing interest in Scallywags Nursery and Pre-School and Scallywags Children’s Centre both of which are based in Nether Edge. We offer a first class nursery, pre-school and after-school service. Scallywags provides younger children with a happy atmosphere in the baby and toddler units where quality care and stimulating play give the perfect opportunities for all children to gain all round development. Activities include music and outdoor play. We specialise in Music with Mary Stranex, of Sheffield's' Music Play Time. Here children learn to understand and enjoy music through the fun of working together with their own set of percussion instruments. When children are ready they join the pre-school group. Here children have the opportunity to join in the fun of French lessons and other equipment for older children includes a computer and woodwork bench. Children are able to access the Nursery Education Grant from the term after their 3rd birthday. Scallywags claims the funding on your behalf. Scallywags also has a toy and parenting book loan service that is free to customers at both Scallywags sites. We would like to invite you and your child to visit both of our sites.
