Meet the Team - 2 to 3 year olds (Winnies)

 Stacey Fenwick

I am the Team Leader in Winnies. I have a Diploma in Child care and Education and am at present, studying for my Foundation degree in Early Years which I am really enjoying.

I have 8 years experience in childcare working with children aged 3mths to 12 years, I have worked within a baby and toddler room, encouraging first signs of movement and big smiles, also working with pre-school age children, developing literacy and numeracy skills and building their confidence ready for big school. Lastly I have worked in after school and holiday clubs, planning trips and making holidays fun and exciting.

At the weekends and evenings, I regularly babysit following children’s evening routines and sometimes looking after children during the day at the weekend attending parks and play centres.

Stacey has a very bubbly and outgoing personality. She loves caring for young children watching them blossom and develop, creating their own mini personalities, and believes that all children are very unique and special.

When I am not at work I enjoy socialising with my friends, eating out and attending festivals and gigs.

 Leah Ward

I have a Diploma in Childcare and Education and have been employed at Scallywags for 2 years.

I started to work with children straight after leaving school. I will be the big 21 in September.

I love to eat out, go to the cinema and go on holiday to hot places!

Leah is very enthusiastic and bubbly, making Winnies a fun room for the children to be in.

Donna Martin

I have an NVQ3 in childcare, education and development. I have been employed at Scallywags for nearly 6 years but have been helping here for about 6 years before that as my sister also works at Scallywags and my Mum used to work at Scallywags - quite the family affair! That means that I have spent a total of nearly 12 years either working or helping at Scallywags!

In my spare time I enjoy shopping, playing games, watching films and spending time with my nephews, Cole and Logan and my partner Lee.

Donna is presently undertaking  training to become SENCO, which is something she is very passionate about. (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator)
